Smoke read Rudy Toody's bio and was so impressed that he decided to send him a processor/mobo that wasn't being used.

Rudy Toody told Smoke that he didn't have room for any more computers, and he also explained that I had lost a cruncher a few months back (the old AMD Athlon 2100+ based mobo couldn't handle the stress of crunching and smoked itself).

Smoke sent me a Pentium D 820+ and a motherboard to go with it. Rudy Toody furnished the RAM and a video card. He and I assembled the components this past weekend. I now have a new cruncher, and am very excited about it.

Awesome! My 805 D and 820 D rigs are a bit power-hungry, but crunch pretty well. I was astounded when they outperformed my OC'ed Opty 165 and 175 boxes during the Enigma push last month by a large margin. Optimization is pretty cool.

Not to mention greAT TeAmmateS. :thumbsup:
