I'm all for gay and transgender being accepted into main stream society and fully support them getting individual equal rights in this country, but it's unrealistic to think that at a flick of a switch or a snap of a finger , this is going to be accepted everywhere and anywhere without question for "fear of the other" or other such phobia's. Hell, this is rural Missouri, its surprising they even offered a neutral bathroom. It seems to be a baby step in acceptance.
These kids are going home and telling their parents that a transgender boy is using the girls bathroom. You don't think some "thats my little girl!" alpha male father isn't storming into that school wondering why some hormone raging 17 year old boy with a dress and make-up on is taking a piss in the stall next to "daddy's little girl". Hell, I'm sure some parents in rural Missouri still think the kid has a disease or will "outgrow his confusion". It' seems that this is creating a disruption at the school that really doesn't have to be there.
No, the problem comes when these people are accepted and honored as being special. Almost 80% either revert or kill themselves. Why? Because the *MENTAL* issue conflicts with their biological system. Pumping the kids full of ideas, and hormones, fucks them up beyond belief.
