Manual Transmission Damage?

Hi,

Any auto mechanics or enthusiasts here? A garbage truck backed into my parked car ( '93 Probe GT, parking brake applied, locked in 1st gear ) and pushed it backward 6 feet. I do not see any rubber on the concrete/asphalt, so it is possible the wheels rotated.

What type of transmission damage can I expect, if any?

Cheers.

None. It probably just turned your engine over a bit if it did, but it's possible that the low speed and cold tires just didn't leave marks.

wouldn't you be more worried about the car itself? 😕 a garbage truck pushing a probe 6 feet sounds like it would cause some serious damage.

She's got a black eye, broken nose, and fractured jaw to be sure. I just want to ensure that the claims adjuster covers any necessary mechanical tests/repairs that might not be obvious.

Cheers.
