I prefer a manual, and I have a manual Suzuki. But I also have a auto truck. Hmm....

I prefer a manual.
No one seems to care for sport shift.
If I had a TRUE SMG car, that would imply that I have an M series car (maybe an M Roadster? :D) so I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I prefer stick, but my truck's automatic....prolly better for towing, etc. anyways, and it's not worth changing it over. So I drive the car when I need to stir the cogs manually :D

I would just keep searching until I found one with a stick, or just not get a Maxima if it came to that!

If it was a true SMG gear box then I would go for that in a hearbeat. Then regular stick, then a slush box.

Where were you people when the thread came up awhile back about whether it was better to tow with a manual or auto and most people said manual.
And when I commented how my gf who has towed many a 5th-wheel horse trailer from her pickup truck told me that auto is actually better for towing, the response was pretty much "She's a girl, what could she possibly know?"

I missed that one.... too bad, sounds like I would have performed a lot of ownage, people who think manuals are better for towing are clueless and need to stick with their baby cars ;)

Wow. I am stunned.
I'd have to agree that auto is better for towing or even general driving of a boring vehicle such as a truck (except maybe rock crawling).
If shifting my owng gears is babyish, then I guess my car is a baby car.
