Anyone else watch this show? I'm starting to get into it, but it seems like Mantracker could catch the majority of the contestants within 15 minutes of the show if he really wanted to. Still entertaining nonetheless.

Great show, some of the tracks he picks up are amazing, right out of a movie.

And he DOES find the majority of the contestants relatively early, but since they generally bail into thick underbrush where horses can't follow they aren't officially captured for the sake of the show.

Yeah its a good show. My dad is obsessed with it because he likes to ride and camp in the bush also. Some of the things they do and say on that show are a little unrealistic, neat show to kill some time though.

Yeah been watching it for awhile now. It's been on Canadian cable for over a year I think.

Science Channel

The last episode I watched was where 2 girls pretty much followed the dirt trail for a majority of the way. They didn't even bother going through the thick brush unless they had to. They did redeem themselves when they left a tape recorder running to throw mantracker off for a bit :p And leaving panties on the branch was pretty funny.

I watched an episode and haven't watched it again. What bothered me is the fact that both the mantracker and the runners are being followed by camera men. It shows scenes with the runners hiding behind rocks or fallen trees, but the camera man in plain site.

the only episode I saw was so ridiculously over the top it was unreal. it featured two black guys who began into this insane stream of conciousness about feeling like their slave brothers and how it must have felt to be on the underground railroad... complete with slave songs and all. some of the dialogue was just hard to believe in it. I laughed for about 30 minutes straight after it. Mantracker described himself as a bit of a redneck as well, the whole thing felt so constructed that it seemed like a parody.

Wow, that sounds stupid.
