There's a mansion called the Grant Mansion a few hours from where I live that's been abandoned for over a decade and a family from Texas bought it to remodel it, they're hoping to make a TV show of it.

This is their Youtube channel, they release a new video today going through it with some of the urbex explorers that got their attention. https://www.youtube.com/@MansionImpossible

Worth checking out, I hope it works out for them, will be really cool to see what they can do with it. It's cool to know that this is close to home. This mansion is actually bigger than the white house, so quite a crazy project to take on.

Wow...abandoned? Or just vacant and unsold? Unreal that a property like that would be abandoned by the owners but I suppose it's possible.

Be interesting to see what they do with it. Having not watched the vid/channel yet, do they plan to keep it or flip it?

Okay, I just watched all of the videos released so far, up to the one 12 hours ago. Sounds like there may be another one released soon of them going through again during the day (The owner and the "criminals" lol). I suscribed to the channel. Should be interesting, and they seem like funny guys.

Was it built in the middle of a rock quarry?

Possible but iono, when they were in the bottom level boat house, he mentioned they had to blow a bunch of the rock out in order to dig the trench. He said it fit a 60ft+ boat.

One of the guys said more than once, 'This is some batman cave shit' when they were down there, lol.

Seriously reminds me of this hospital in Fresno that was built in the 50s and closed down in 2007.

That place would need so many Roombas...

Could be a full time job just going to tend to roombas that are full, or stuck. I would want to setup a dedicated NOC room just so I can monitor all the roombas and other automation stuff. Could be fun designing all that actually.
