Dude calls himself "Dblocks", he's got skills on a bike, problem is he likes to ride wheelies right up to car, buses, pedestrians and swerve away at the last second, video has rap music in the background so you might want to mute it. No, Wheelies are cool and fun but that doesn't give you the right to ride like that and take chances with other people getting injured, take it to a place where you can show off your stunts without riding like a complete asshole.
 
Meh, video has ~7700 views; I'm thinking one of him face-planting into a vehicle he didn't swerve around quick enough will get at least 100,000.

Gives a bad name to cyclists everywhere.
 
I'm sure he's hit cars before too and done some scratches or damage. Think he stopped or paid for it and left a note? Doubtful.

The story has too little data. It doesn't state who has the green or if the pedestrian simply strolled out into the street without looking and right into the path of the bicycle (I've definitely seen these scenarios in my own adventures through NYC - pedestrians blindly stepping off the curb and against the light; I've also seen plenty of jackasses on bikes and plenty of jackasses driving along with a whole host of others in their respective groups that are just fine). Of course, the bicyclist could have been reckless in some capacity, but being the NY Post, it's just a story playing to emotion and they'll print anything that puts bicycles in a bad light.

And with NYC rarely pressing any serious charges beyond a ticket to drivers who hit and kill pedestrians, I hardly see why bicyclists should be held to a higher standard, especially when they are far less of a danger than cars and trucks are to pedestrians.

The first video - what an asshole. He's a danger to everyone. I'm surprised he hasn't become a hood ornament yet on someone's car.

I noticed he is using more than one 29" mountain bike in that video. He may have well gotten hit and ruined the bike.
