I read about that yesterday. Thats insane. You need some major balls to trust some knotted bed sheets.

What kind of shitty prison doesn't notice 13 STORIES worth of bedsheets missing?

I used to work right next to that prison a few years ago, you can see them up there on the roof.

The window is 6" wide? How the hell do you squeeze through that 200 feet up? At this point I say them go, because that entire thing is pretty damn impressive.

That would only be 13 sheets total. It's not like they took the sheets from every cell in 13 stories. They've probably got piles of hundreds of them so I doubt it would be very obvious if a few went missing.

It says it's 4" wide and they knocked out some cinderblocks to fit through. I'm more curious how they managed to smash through a block wall.

Dude, its a shitty old brick building...
The only surprising thing about this was the fact that there were a few inmates actually smart enough to smash through the shit and walk out.

I can punch through a cinder block, I'm damn sure a buffed out inmate could as well. Especially if they grabbed any tool, bed frame, toilet, sink, etc. laying around to make quicker work of it. Before you say bullshit, I'll tell you its like breaking a car window...you can kick it and it wont break, but tap it with the right tool and it shatters. Breaking a new unaltered cinder block with your hand is possible, you just have to know where/how to do it. Breaking an old ass crumbling block that you can score/chip away at or simply smash with anything other than your hand should be easy.

Tying sheets together to make a rope is a stupid old classic, why is that at all surprising? Any dumb inmate should at least know that one.

Edit:
I guess I should clarify, I know that breaking a block and breaking a wall are different things...but that doesn't change the fact that these things are fairly quick/easy to break through alone. Any kind of reinforcement would have made this much harder, if not impossible.

Edit 2:
Also, they only needed to widen the gap by 6-8" on each side of the window to easily fit through. They just needed to partially remove a total of 5-6 bricks (or 2 cinder blocks) on each side of the window.

They are probably long gone by now. Both of them look like average dudes, so they won't stand out in a crowd. That is bad ass, no less though.

The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the two convicted bank robbers who escaped yesterday from the Metropolitan Correctional Center

Are these accounted or not?

who robbed nearly $600,000 from various heists. $500,000 is still unaccounted for

Some unaccounted...

Looks, like robbers robbed money counterfeiting institution - banks, federal reserve...

It sounds, like some small druggie have stolen an oz. of coke from some major drug dealer...

"Unaccounted $500,000" is nothing against trillions of $$$ unaccounted that in circulation in The World...
