If it helps Koni, I upgraded my 8.0 to this new release. It's kinda sad that I needed both ISOs. Almost makes me wish that the MandrakeUpdate was as capable is WindowsUpdate. Sure, you can get the updated RPMs, but dependencies will quickly bite you when you least expect it.

I've bombed yet my 3rd installation of Linux because of trying to get x 4.1 to work unsuccessfully. Bleh. Guess I can just do this

Think of this as Mandrake 8.02 ... I guess. To put it this way, they felt this release was good enough to put it out as non-Cooker (their alpha development stuff) code.
