Mandrake SNF problem

I recently installed Mandrake's Single Network Firewall [SNF] at home and ran nmap against it from work. Now the system hangs starting up the Bastille Firewall service. I tried a reboot last night to see if it just takes along time to start it and when I checked it this morning it was sitting right there still trying to start the service.

I tried booting Interactive mode and not starting the service and it booted fine, but that's not a solution.

Any suggestions as to my next move? Anyone ever run into this before?

I don't want to reinstall unless I absolutely have to.

Thanks

Since this is a trouble-shooting question rather than a techncial question, I recommend that you ask it in the OS forum rather than the HT forum.
