Mandrake+Planar=No support?

I am trying to install Mandrake 8.2 on my computer and I have a Planar 18.1 LCD. There is no selection for Planar in the monitor section when loading the OS and none of the generic drivers work.

Anyone know what I can do to actually get a display when I go into Mandrake?
 
You should be able to look around at a command prompt for xf86config and run it, then make sure you choose custom monitor settings and enter in the specs for your monitor from the manual. Thats how I installed my NEC 17" LCD. Im sure som guru here can explain it better than I.
