Mandrake Linux 8.2 --- monitor refresh

Hi,

I've recently installed Mandrake Linux 8.2 and I can no longer boot into the GUI.
I changed the resolution while in the GUI from the default setting it obtained
( 1280x1024 @ 85hz ) which worked, but I wanted to use my standard Windows
resolution ( 1600 x 1200 @ 75hz ) . Now when I boot, it loads @ 1600x1200 @ 85hz
which is out of range for my monitor.

How do I edit the refresh through the command line? ( whats the config file, and where
would it be located? )

Thanks!!

Thanks for your help! 🙂 Much appreciated!

Should have known that 🙂 Had to edit the -4 file to get my USB mouse working ( wouldn't initialize
with the GUI .. Logitech Dual Optical USB ) .. doh!! 🙂

Thanks again
