Howdy All,

I recently installed Mandrake 8 and I love it, but I have a question. How do I set XDM to run automatically?

as root, edit /etc/inittab

In the first 10 to 15 lines, there is a line that has ":3:"

Change that three to a five

OR

run XFdrake (which completely reconfigures your video) and it asks you that question just before it exits.
