Mandrake 8 / XP question

I just installed mandrake 8 and have the dual boot set up fine. My question is how do I make it so that the default option in the LILO boot menu is xp when I turn my computer on?
It is currnetly set to linux (by default) and I want to be able to power my computer on and walk away and have it boot directly into xp and not have to wait for the menu to appear and manually choose it. Thanks

Ok, your going to configure your lilo.conf. It should be in /etc/. I'm doing this from memory. I dual boot at work, but run corel linux at home.
Up at the top, it should say boot=/dev/hda. Now you need to find where XP is located. dev/hda? hdb?. And replace it up top. I hope this makes sense, I'm new at this.

You also have to run lilo to save the changes you made. Should be in /sbin/lilo. Runt it, and if there are any mistakes, it will tell you.
And if there are errors post em 😉
