Yea. This whole lunix thing sucks. Now that we've got that out of the way .. I've been using linux for almost 5 years now.. Slackware for about 4 .. now Mandrake 8.1
So I know a little something about linux.. what I don't know about linux is printing ... and CUPS isn't working so hot.. I've got an Epson Stylus C60 ... this is my /etc/cups/printer.conf
# Printer configuration file for CUPS v1.1.10
# Written by cupsd on Mon Feb 25 18:45:15 2002
<DefaultPrinter Epson_C60>
DeviceURI usb:/dev/lp0
State Idle
Accepting Yes
JobSheets none none
</Printer>
I've tried DeviceURI usb:/dev/usb/lp0 (both devices exist, but they have diff mknod numbers, 186,0 and 6,0 i think)
Neither works.
Any suggestions?
