mandrake 10 nocd boot

Is it me, or does Mandrake 10 not wanna boot from the CD. Now, where do i get a boot floppy for it?

It's probably you. Did you burn it correctly? Did the md5 checksums match? Is your machine set to boot from cd?

More to the point does your machine have the boot sequence with the CD-ROM drive first? Even on my newer rig I had to do this or it would boot from the hard drive even if I had a bootable CD in the CD-ROM.

yes, it boots cdrom, floppy, and finally HD. maybe it's that checksum thing... blah.

Mandrake 10 is so full of bugs. You need to boot it from the second cd, then put in the first cd.
