What gives? Does SATA need to be changed to IDE in the BIOS since I'm not really running an array? Just wondering because it's really irritating that Fedora Core 3, and Ubuntu as well as Slack and RH do not do this.
The one time I installed Mandrake, I did have to have my SATA arranged differently in the bios. I haven't had to do that with any other distribution though. YMMV
IMO, I would go with Ubuntu before Mandrake. RPM distro's are not the best.
