Seems as if just about every website out there requires a registration in order to use their services. A good example is the trailer for the next STARWARS movie - register or no access to the movie trailer! In my opinion its a real hassle and I refuse to register. Hell, I didn't even care for any of the movies after the original anyhow. ;) If they want me to see what they got then they'll allow anonymous access to the content. Otherwise forget it, and screw seeing their movie while they are at it. One missed movie ticker sale isn't going to kill them.

So what do you think about registering for general website access these days?

Yeah, that's what I always do. I also have a juck-mail hotmail acct if I need to get an email for whatever I'm signing up for... that acct gets about 50 spam emails a day.

I hate having to register at websites sometimes but just so you know you don't have to register to see the new Star Wars trailer. You can just go to the Apple site.

Who cares!?! I solved the problem by having a second email account just for this sort of crap!

In my opinion if the content isn't worth seeing I signup register. If it is worth seeing I will register with my dummy hotmail account.

You have to have Pro to view the large version trailer, not the small or medium.

invasive? how is this invasive? you're the one what wants to see their content... you have control over whether you register or not.

btw, i believe ms, sun, & co. are working hard to provide 2 ways to remedy this :D
