Just remember, all the people that get put to death deserve it.

would you rather a murderer live next door to you rather than the occasional slip up?

np. how about the slip up involves your best friend?

that would be f'ed up, however i would pay to have a DNA test to proove his innocence so I don't see a problem

Would you like to be the ocaasional slip up?

Are you seriously suggesting that state execution of innoncent people is just a cost of doing business?

What if you or his family cannot afford a DNA test?

sorry, your appeal was denied. he gets the gas chamber.

I don't understand how somone who is innocent of murder can sit quietly in jail for 12 years. I'd be demanding lie detector tests, new trials, and anything else I can get to show my innocence. I certainly wouldn't say "oh well" and accept it.

What if they deny your appeals?

that's what the guilty people do too.

I believe I can appeal more than once and I move for a change of venue as you do not seem to offer a fair trial.

Then I would find someone who could

What's the law regarding this sort of thing? If you are wrongfully inprisoned, can you sue the state? Are you entitled to compensation? It seems that a person should deserve something for losing 12 years of their life.

Your request is denied.

Please remember, we have people who are actually innocent to worry about; there is no doubt of your guilt.

<---slips you a videotape of you and your boyfriend in San Fran last year, and asks for a change of venue

I'd call up OJ:

Walker "Juice! Waaas uuuuupp!?"
Juice "watching the game; having a bud."
Walker "Hey, you know how you killed Nichole and got away with it?"
Juice "uh.. yeah?"
Walker "Well, my best friend killed my GF, and he got away with it. I went to prison for 12 years!"
Juice " Wow, that sucks. You should have gotten a better lawyer."
Walker "Oh well. What are you doing tonight; you got any good Extasy?"

Yup.

Our judicial system is sad when it makes such a big mistake (like takiing 12 years of someone's life). What is he supposed to do now? Find a job easily? What about all of the potential lost income? The government should do more about this if it was the prosecution's fault.

Can't Walker sue Bowers in a civil case for I dunno... something like slander?

No, innocent people demand lie detector tests, not guilty people.

We all know that only innocent people can pass lie detector tests.

Obviously, we do not execute prisoners fast enough. If we were more efficient, then this kind of ugly thing would not come up. We need to do better.
