I work customer service at a large sandwich corporation. Just the usual "make the angry customer happy" kind of stuff. You know, customer calls in with complaint. Send them some coupons for some free subs and tell them you'll look into the problem, and they go away. But today I drew the line. I actually had a guy claiming that he received the wrong subs at one of our restaurants. That's ridiculous! Everybody knows they make the subs right in front of you. You'd have to be a complete tool, and change positions in line for you to get the wrong food. It works just like a conveyor belt. I argued with him for at least 15 minutes, then flagged the call and sent it on to my manager when the guy pushed the issue. He didn't get crap from either me or my supervisor.
