Chesnut and Kobayashi could've taken on that 30" pizza and won the $250. easy!

They were saying that over 400 people (teams of 2) have attempted the challenge, but no one has won yet.

I remember watching a Japanese eating competition a la reality tv. They start with like 10 contestants, and elliminate one per round. Each round is every other day I think. So bascially the restaurants are the sponsors of the show and the contestants eat their signature dishes. It was a good setup. the contestants travel to the restaurants all over Japan.
