it's coming... right after they start charging "by ability to pay"...

From where I sit anybody that flies has the "ability to pay" or they wouldn't be flying.

This sounds fine to me. The plane had no room. This is the same as if I wanted a seat and there are none left. Am I going to sit in the cargo hold? The guy simply requires two seats. If there was one left, they couldn't fit in him, so what's the problem?

I sat with a fat guy on a multi-hour trip earlier this year. He really ought to have had two seats, he was flowing into my seat (and fvck me, they are small enough as it is) and was like sitting next to a furnace all the heat coming off him. I paid for a tiny seat and he made it even tinier with his heft.

I'm on the same page as you with this...but I do think that the rules should be very strict and uniformly enforced or you will have complaints.

There should be, whether it's an industrial scale by check-in or a 25' tape measure or something.

but it's not fair that millions of americans can't afford to fly... they are going to put a tax on airfares for people who make more than $250k a year and make everybody travel by air when they go anywhere (or get fined ) to pay for uat (universal air travel)...

I know you think your being cute but trying to draw a comarison between people flying and people dying due to lack of health care just shows what a miserable POS you really are.
