man, ticketmaster sure knows how to make money

ticket: 46.50
facility charge: 3.00
convinenance charge: 8.50
Email the e-ticket to you: 2.50

sh1ttzz.... no cookie for you.

update: it turned out that buying on site didn't pay off; the cost for a ticket is $55 at the door. Plus I procrastinated to stop by a bank beforehand so I have to use the ATM there at the venue which charges 4 bucks "service fee" and my bank will then in turn charge me another 1.50 "processing fee."

so, 55 + 4 + 1.5 = $60.5 at the door.
46.50 + 3 + 8.5 + 2.50 = $60.5 online.... same price.... BUT, I will get to use a credit card, and get a better seat (not applicable for my case though however sine the venue is "standing" only.)

anyway
me = double-ownzed.

the show im going to tonight was pre-selling tickets through ticketmaster. for $5 more at the door, i dont have to get sacked with all those extra charges.

You could have probably saved that $8.50 conv. charge by getting them at the venue (and the email charge as well).

i bought 2 tickets a couple weeks ago

face value of each was $38.50

the total CC charge from TicketDisaster (including UPS shipping charges) was $111.25

Will Call works just fine to save the email fees. Usually, I just call the local box-office first to get tickets.

:Q😕

I usually let them mail them to me at the slowest speed available(which is free). I'm not partial to using ticketmaster. I'd rather go through any other available outlet whenever possible.

well, I am driving 1000 mile to the venue/stadium, I guess I rather spend 15 buck extra to secure my ticket instead of finding they ran out of tickets when I get there.

actually, I think I will risk it. 🙂 fukk Ticketmaster!
I will post back on Monday, wish me luck.

yet another ticketmaster thread

It's been *official* and *confirmed* many times now... ticketmaster = the devil

How can this company continue to charging these disgusting fees? I bought two tix for Lewis Black at $44 a pop. The total was $108 CAD.
