plus that makes 4x4's look rather dodgy......if you had to do the deer test in real life, it would be horrific if you rolled.

why on earth did he thing taking to the rough at that speeed was a good idea...it was always gonna end in tears. i like how it ripped a wheel off, launched over some cars at an intersection and then rolled, if your gonna crash do it with style!

Either that or they were stunned and had late reactions.

With your logic I hope I don't drive behind you, because slamming on your brakes on a busy freeway would be idiotic. These people did the right thing by SWERVING away from the object in question, not slamming on their brakes and causing a chain-reaction of pileups, resulting in even more deaths.

That, and do you know how long it takes to come to a stop when going 65mph+??? It's not like we see what the cars do for any distance or time.

After further review; I have decided that his (I guess it was a he) head is still attached. I think his neck was stretched and severely broken, but I don't think he was decapitated. Imagine your face pressed against your sternum... that's what I think we're seeing in the video.

If he were decapitated during the rollover, I think we would see a faint spray of red, visible in the air, plus when he was laying in the road pre-strike, I think we would have seen blood. When someone is decapitated the blood gushes & spills like crazy.

Then again... I could be wrong.

Edit: Just before the car hits him, you see a flash of white that I think is his face. He is wearing a dark shirt and the lighter color of his face appears to be visible.

Don't worry about it, it's really not that great.

By not that great, I mean it's the greatest death video I've ever seen.

Rofl.. :p

What video is this? Linky?[/quote]I don't remember the link, but here's the news story about the shooting (seems it was a 7.62 caliber M1, not an M16.)

Link to story

The video was from the trooper's in-car dash camera.

edit: Here's a link to the video. Not graphic, but the screams were just horrible, and I hate seeing/hearing the good guy (22 year-old rookie cop with a wife and baby) die.

Thanks for the laugh!

Where's the one with the guy that hung himself jumping over a fence. Never seen or heard of that one before.

one has to wonder though...

at the severe amount of force involved in a roll like that would a seatbelt really keep you in?

race cars? sure.

passenger cars? not sure.

If you watch right before he gets flung from the vehicle you can see something smashing into the asphalt to the right of the vehicle with a big spray of red. It looks like there's another limb that got severed too but I'm getting sick watching it again and again.

Ok, I looked one more time and I don't think there was any decapitation going on.

Yes, you should have seen arterial blood flow, but if he either had complete and total avulsion early in the roll, all blood would be gone in seconds. The more realistic possibility was that he had bashed his head real good before being ejected, and that makes it appear to be headless. I also thought he lost most of his cranium to the right of the crash.... And yes, decapitiation is not a pretty site...in highschool a family friend with his family was unfortunate enough to slide under a semi in front of the school. All 3 instantly...dear God, that ws horrible.

Is the site down now?

Mods will surely remove this link.

Why, the video of an innocent man getting shot stayed up.

I just figured that if they allow graphic videos to be posted on ATOT, things will get out of hand and this will quickly turn into a freak-website like like the other ones, and the ATOT we once remembered will be gone.

that happened a LONG time ago.
