To others...most of the time people that are spending this kind of 'gluttony' on a wedding or party or just buying a fucking $50,000 watch; also give back a lot. Yeah many do it just for the write offs, but some are compassionate about their charity and like to still have a good time.

The sad part is most that are the most vocal about those like this are the one's that never give anything back themselves and more than likely don't tip properly either.

I donated more last year than my BMW payments over a year will be.

my in laws barely paid shit for the wedding, I paid for ~70% of it myself, and it was not 25K

but it was not easy to do(CHicago suburbs), I had to do ALOT of looking and searching, alot of emails, and alot of phone calls to do that.

Alot of places basically showed you a 35K reception package when you went to see their place

2) Propose at a Salad Bar
3) Walk down the street and get Elvis to do the deed
4) Call Family/Friends and tell them the good news
5) If they complain, don't give a fuck
6) Live happily ever after until Death/Divorce
7) Repeat as necessary
