Man, I just got a HUGE cell phone bill and I called verizon cause I was supposed to get 1000 mobile to mobile mins. Turns out that THEY screwed up (the mob to mob mins werent being counted and should have) and are going to give me a credit, but I have to wait untill next month to get the credit- I have to come up with the $$$ to pay this whole bill. Kinda hard when my CC is near it's max and I dont get paid till the end of the month.

Stupid Verizon. I had called them like 3 times during the month saying the online min's dont look right (checking usage online) and they assured me it would be correct on the bill and not to worry about it.
sorry, wanted to vent a little

Why do you have to pay the whole bill? Can't you just pay the amount due less the credit they're going to give you, and have them put a note on your account about it?

just leave a balance on there, they wont shut you off until you are at least 60 days past due, and they wont report the late payment unless your account gets cancelled and you never pay it off

Not surprised. Yet to see a Cell Company that does have accurate billing. Verizon recently sent a late notice to my mother to pay her bill. Her account is on auto-payment with a Credit Card(Limit of 25K) and the charge had already posted on it WAY before they sent the notice. Sprint pulls crap on me all the time as well. You are playing a crapshoot with each CSR. Maybe 1/10 is actually able to fix what you want, but most are incompetent.

I've had Tmobile for 19 months and they have been accurate every time.

Verizon as a whole is incompotent of providing even sub-par customer service. We recently changed our local service to a different plan and they fvcked up big time - was 2x what our bill should have been. The hoops I jumped through to get that sh!t straightened out was total bull sh!t. If it happens again next billing they're going to get a major earful.

I've gotten $600 cell bills from AT&T when it should have been $50. I'm switching companies soon, when I move.

Well I figure it's not that particular CS' fault so I took it easy on them. However, if they fvck up the 2nd time I'm gonna go off on the poor bastard on the other end of the line.

Ya, but then they charge me a fee for not paying in full, it's not too bad, like $5 or $10, but I shouldnt have to pay for their fvck up...

There are always exceptions, but I have seen past threads of people on here bitching about T-mobile.

If you pay all of it, don't come back and complain that they 'forgot' about your credit..heh

Heh my plan (untill august or september) is 150 min a month, now normally I do like 14 cell minutes a month lol, but recently (being the summer and all) I have had a lot of other calls, plus this chick keeps calling me wanting to talk about her life, well to make a long story short, my minutes usage was 552 this month, that was a bit expensive heh.
