Funny but not funny. Looks like the tech still needs lot of work lol. Did not realize they were actually testing self driving cabs on actual streets, figured there would still be a driver.

"Stuck" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there as there was a big red button to end the trip!

Waymo is all over Phoenix. Almost as common as Uber drivers and similar price. I've ridden in them a couple times.

Yeah, lot of Driverless waymo out in SF also.

Wife and I had the pleasure of parking in the same garage that was their home base once and it was legit creepy as fuck.

Dozens of driverless cars entering and leaving this parking garage, parking themselves, navigating around each other and any pedestrians (lucky us).

Whole garage was eeriely quiet for the amount of vehicle activity.

What happens if he opens a door?

Or if he jumps in the driver seat and takes the wheel. I was wondering if that's something you can do. Surely there's got to be some form of security override, right? I don't imagine it would let you drive the car but maybe just stop the car completely.
