I have been to AA meetings and rich people can have drinking problems just the same as poor people.

A lot of the AA guys I'm familiar with had medium end jobs, and after getting reamed by the courts, or possibly losing their jobs, didn't have much excess cash on hand. I've also known lawyers who did AA, but I'd bet you the median income at a meeting is below average.
