I swear we already have a thread on this.

Either that or it happened twice (which is totally believable).

I did search for Florida, but did not check the linked thread due to vague title. :colbert:

Yeah that's what I would have done, and essentially did the same thing.

I knew of that thread since I posted in it, but I also did a search for Florida to see what you probably would see if making the obvious search choice ("Florida") to start off with. Pretending I don't know the thread already, I highly doubt I would have checked out Rudeguy's thread.

It's just impossible to resist poking fun at reposts. ;)

Firearm ownership fail... Firearms should never be brandished to make a point, they should only be drawn when necessary to defend oneself. Secondly, you should NEVER put your finger on the trigger until you're ready to shoot.

But, an armed society is a polite society! :whiste:

Isn't that the horseshit the NRA feeds us?

Shut up, Jules. Idiot got what he deserved.

Of that there is no doubt. But just the fact that he was brandishing a gun means he clearly should not have owned it in the first place. Same as the guy who killed someone for texting in a movie theater.

If Jules could be a bigger douchebag, would he be named Julian?
I don't think Jules is a douche. He's left of my politics but he straight up, his points are valid and he's a gun owner.

Maybe and yes. But the old guy would have gotten a pass anywhere in this country because he was a former LEO unless there were other over the top confrontations.

Granted the victim was throwing small cardiac arrests at the old man. Movie popcorn is dangerous stuff.
