That isn't entirely true, either. But given that the majority of people here have grown up under the cloud of the "Zero Tolerance" mindset, it's easy to see how a lack of coping skills can give rise to the noton that offensive behaviors need to be legislated.Originally posted by: Queasy

Pretty soon, we'll be like Singapore, where chewing gum in public is banned (it gets on people's shoes, oh no!!)
That someone says something that disturbs my world is not the end of it. That someone incits the destruction of my world is a different story. There is a world of sdifference between SAYING something offensive or harmful and DOING something offensive or harmful.
It's obvious to me that critical thinking skills are in decline in this nation.
