So why is the go between, the rental app footing the bill instead of the people who wrecked the place?

Why would anybody rent their home with $23k of wreckable stuff?

My place which was modest in the mid 90's had more than that.

I never rented my place then because Polo people tended to cause a lot of damage.

Looking back with a $900 a month total mortgage bill and the $5k per month for a 4-6 month lease they were paying, I should have gotten over my attachment to simple goods.
