I can tell you're new around here.... everyone here makes mid to high 6 figures a year and is married to a supermodel.

Dude, most of the people on here are in your boat (me included) but it's only the cocky people who feel the need to brag who you hear about on here. The rest of the world is comfortable enough with ourselves that we don't need to go around bragging about stuff (whether they actually own/have it or not in real life).

LOL
I'm nowhere near to driving a Lexus.
I walk to get around, grocery store and its a rural area so the walk isn't short.
I live in a one bedroom economy apartment.
About the biggest luxury item I have is a 59" HDTV.
And that I got because it was damaged in shipping and discarded.
I repaired it and it works well now.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Especially on forums.

I make 7 figures, date a different supermodel every week, work part time as a model myself, and completely kick a$$ at CS: Source. :)

There is such a thing as raw talent - people aren't all created equally. Granted you will need to work hard to realize that talent, but the vast majority of people will never be pro athletes no matter how long they practice.

I'm in college, work 4 days a week and live at home. If I had to pay rent I wouldn't have a car.

I don't agree. Sports are so diverse that there is something for Everyone. Even if its golf.

you probably aren't 6' 6", weigh 160 lbs with 3% body fat, have a credit score of 845 and have never bought a sony or bose product before either...

forgot to add no credit card debt and live in a $750K house that you will payoff in 3 years...

why do you guys always talk about me? You did forget my Royals Royce though!

Some things may get you down, but other threads make you feel good not to be the OP.

Who was the guy whose girlfriend had a grand ole time on a boat with a bunch of 'Mexican guys'? :p

That's because you ARE a bum! ;)

Seriously, I remember times when we were young and things were tight as hell...no, I'm NOT talking about my wife...:D just life and money in general.
As an apprentice, my wages were pretty crappy as compared to the journeymen I worked with, yet we managed to survive somehow.

I work as a veterinary technician. It is a great job, but it barely pays the bills. The girl makes more money than me. We live comfortably, but apparently not by the standards some here do, or at least feel it necessary to make us believe.

LOL! ATOT spot on! Especially the credit score and debt part. It's amazing what a bunch of financially responsible people we have here at ATOT!

OP, just remember at ATOT $200,000 is the new $100,000.

You think *everyone*, aside from handicapped people or other obvious exceptions, can make a living as a professional athlete?

So then why aren't you a professional athlete? ;)
