what did he get punched with? If we're talking about a rosco than you could call it sexual assault.
Why should someone be shown common courtesy when its not reciprocated? Its not common courtesy to go out and stand in parking spots denying people trying to find parking spots. If you want to hold a parking spot, park a car there. The point is common courtesy. They decided to hold the spot for a friend, so you acquiesce and move on. Choosing to create a conflict is never appropriate in this situation. You can just as easily go get a different spot and avoid the mess. You gain NOTHING by creating a conflict.
I teach basic conflict avoidance to people with an IQ of 50.
I'd politely tell them their friends aren't here and I am and sit down.what about a person who saves a seat for their friend or a whole row of seats. "These are taken". I hate that when I am trying to find a place to sit down, and someone is saving all the free seats. But, I move on. Why start controversy that isn't going to end with me getting the seat anyway?
never seen that happen in real life, have you?I'd politely tell them their friends aren't here and I am and sit down.
Yes I have. The person saving the seats just got up.never seen that happen in real life, have you?
And it doesn't always work that way...Yes I have. The person saving the seats just got up.
Says who - the seat savers? And it doesn't always work that way...
says the person saving the parking spot.Says who - the seat savers?
I forgot to ask what race they are. Whichever one is black is obviously the more aggressive one.
Absolutely. Self-defense would be leaving. If they weren't interested in a fight, they wouldn't have gotten out of the car to begin with. If they punched the other person, they had every intention from the start to do so if the opportunity presented itself. You make it sound like they had no choice, when they had multiple choices leading up to it and continued to choose conflict. They intentionally assaulted the person and deserve the punishment as set by the ruling government of the land, because that is how laws work.
If you want to save a parking spot, you better have a car parked there, otherwise its first come first serve.says the person saving the parking spot.
in a perfect world. i am trying to tell you it doesn't always work that way, and i'm not going to jump in, make a scene, and escalate the situation over one damned seat or one damned parking space. If you want to save a parking spot, you better have a car parked there, otherwise its first come first serve.
No it its best to "just let it go" because all you're doing is reinforcing the idea of saving seats or parking spots is OK.in a perfect world. i am trying to tell you it doesn't always work that way, and i'm not going to jump in, make a scene, and escalate the situation over one damned seat or one damned parking space.
i'm not saying saving seats/parking spaces is right, but sometimes it's best to just let it go.
or maybe i'm not into confrontation of that sort. me jumping into the saved seat is not going to stop people from saving seats. No it its best to "just let it go" because all you're doing is reinforcing the idea of saving seats or parking spots is OK.

Sure it is. If people realized that saving seats meant nothing to other people, then they themselves would jump into other people's saved seats and so on and so on.or maybe i'm not into confrontation of that sort. me jumping into the saved seat is not going to stop people from saving seats.
that would take a group effort which i don't see happening.Sure it is. If people realized that saving seats meant nothing to other people, then they themselves would jump into other people's saved seats and so on and so on.
No, what you teach is how to enable rude people.

A group effort in that it requires changes from yourself. Its the same thinking why saving a spot in a line is looked down upon albeit it doesn't get as much attention because the victim in the case of a saved seat is the person denied the seat whereas the victims in someone saving a spot in line are all the people who are behind said spot saver.that would take a group effort which i don't see happening.
