I've worn briefs my entire life, but I'm in the process of switching to boxer briefs. More comfortable IMO, also prevents inner thigh irritation from inseams.

I rock boxers on the daily when I'm wearing looser pants. The flopping around doesn't really bother me that much unless I have to run. Whenever I have to wear normal fit (dress) pants I always rock regular briefs and tuck my shit away so that I don't show. Briefs are real good for athletics as well.

I'm not gay, I just get chaffed using briefs/boxer briefs. Boxers are nice but the middle seem always scratches ALOT.

Also, briefs are gayer looking than bikini briefs.
