that d00d is selling a video card (nothing wrong w/ him or the card - Klee's a nice guy) - but isn't MSI retarded ??
I mean who would name a GF2 video card, the MX 400

first off, the MX 400 was a soundcard first & secondly, the MX confused me to thinking is a GF2MX chipset.

anybody else think MSI is off their rocker about this ??

The MX 400 is nVidia's idea, not MSI's. Just the MX with a higher clock speed. The MX 200 is the "classic" MX, I believe.

nVidia split the GeForce2 MX into two groups.
The MX200 and the MX400, this is probalby just MSi's GF2MX400.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but I think the MX200 has a 64bit SDR memory bus and a lower clock speed than the MX400 (which has a 128bit SDR memory bus or 64bit DDR).

The GeForce2MX can use DDR memory, but it's only 64bit, not 128bit. So it's max bandwidth is no higher than the 128bit SDR versions. And yes you can get GF2MX400s with 64M of RAM.

The MX400 is the same as the regular GF2 MX except running at 200MHz core clock speed.

nVidia doesn't have any, Twinview is only on MX cards. I wish they'd implement it on the GF2 or GF3...
