Man, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse really sticks in your head.

I get up with my 9 month old kid every morning. Get him dressed and play with him until the babysitter arrives.

Somedays we watch the back to back episodes to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Channel. He loves the songs, they are simple and catchy, obviously geared torwards younger kids. He even "dances" which for him is basically bobbing back and forth.

But on days when we watch, I can't help but have the songs stuck in my head, ALL DAY at work. Even when in throw in some headphones and listen to mp3's to try and get the songs out of my head, it never goes away.

The ending song is the "Hot Dog Song" which is Mickey and Friends dancing to "Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity Dawwwwwwg!"

I also find myself affirming a decision with "We got ears, saaay cheers!" which is a little celebratory saying they use in the show.

Can you still watch the old Disney cartoons? I always got up early in the morning to do that but my folks never bought the Disney channel so I could only see them when we got the free weekend.

Few and far between, but they are there. I only watch it in the morning when the stuff for little kids is on. The afternoon stuff is all geared torwards pre-teens, and IMO, is all dumb.

I just remembered that that was the ending to The Mouse Factory. Used to watch that every week with the family.

wait until your kid moves on to phineas and ferb. that show is hilarious. well, the newer seasons are just ok, but the first couple of seasons were awesome.
