So 2 things.

1st...In the US, you cant get married unless both parties can enter the contract. A pillow not being able to enter into a contract, would not be able to get married, so no worries.

2nd... I really enjoyed this comment

Still a better love story than Twilight.

(1) So your argument is that definition of marriage cannot change?

(2) And you are wrong anyway. Children cannot enter into contracts. Yet in every state children are in fact allowed to get married with parental/judicial consent.

This is a gross oversimplification.

Minors can definitely enter contracts, they just have a much greater ability to void those contracts.

Seems pretty simple to extend this law
however, a statute in her jurisdiction allowed a child’s guardian to contract on behalf of a performer, making these contracts unavoidable
to things such as toasters, pillows, dogs, etc.

So the pillows guardian(aka owner) would be free to enter into marriage contracts on its behalf.

Equality for ALL!!!!

Didn't you just say this to me in another thread?

The belief that there is no difference between things that commonsense says there is a well "massive" difference between is a very liberal idea.

Now who is ignoring common sense?

Currently, its impossible to marry a pillow in the US.

Now, if your argument is one of purity, then I think that boat has sailed.

Indeed I did.

This is the "logical" result of liberals ignoring commonsense on the difference between homosexual and heterosexual relationships with regard to marriage.

Love is love. Anyone liberal who stands in the way of pillow love is a hypocritical bigot.

Currently being the key word. How does a man marrying his pillow affect you?

It doesn't. And therefore the definition of marriage should, no MUST, be changed to avoid bigotry!

What is the benefit to marriage to society? If its just something couples do, then why not expand it to be equal?

The only thing government should do with marriage is enforce the contract. Other than that, I don't care who gets married.

Problem is that society pays for marriage through taxes. The marriage fees do not cover all costs of marriage. If someone wanted to cover all fees for a marriage, then I really dont care. There are not any real drawbacks to letting people marry once they cover their costs as far as I can see.

If you say so.

You may want to look up the definition of common sense, though. You're showing an amazing lack of it.

Show me how the pillow can experience love and we'll discuss this argument... :colbert:

What about these pillows though?
