Wrong. I never cared prior to this. But I'm kind of curious how Montoya will do in NASCAR. That's pretty much it.

Who is Montoya? Is (s)he good. I dont know sh1t about sh1t when it comes to nascar.

2 time winner of the CART Drivers Championship, Indy 500 winner and 7 wins in Formula One including the Monaco Grand Prix. He's Columbian and a proven winner in open wheel racing so it will be interesting to see how he does in NASCAR. He will be driving for Chip Ganasi who he drove for in CART when he won his 2 championships there and also for his Indy 500 win.

Montoya is an ex formula 1 driver. A pretty decent one too.


Dang, Montoya was here in Memphis and I didn't get to see him

Not to spoil anything but I'll say he did a good job missing wrecks all day. I didn't even watch most of the race but everytime I flipped over somebody was spinning out and Montoya was having to miss them.

Yeah, I caught the last 80 or so laps on Tivo and fast forwarded through the many cautions. He started 9th and finished 11th after a spin mid race left him in 30th position. Pretty good I'd say. :thumbsup:

I've actually met him a couple times in Long Beach before his Indy 500 win or his stint in F1. He's definitely a talented and proven driver. I hope he does well in NASCAR.
