Well, $180 after 12PM Pacific time... That $20 coupon is worth it!

[*Purely subjective review here*]

Even at $180 this is a screaming deal. It's an actual PVA panel (ePVA to be exact, whatever that means) for the price of a TN panel. And boy, you can really tell the difference. It's just about the size of a 24" panel, the colors are more vibrant than the LG TN panel I was using, text is far sharper, and out of the box flesh tones in movies are more realistic. Yes, the viewing angle IS that good. This is the real deal. I do not know if this is a 6-bit panel or an 8-bit panel (given the price, I suspect the former) but I expect to do some Photoshop testing shortly to get more specific. Hey, I just plugged this thing in tonight!

This may not be the panel to get if you are a fast-twitch gamer extraordinaire, but for creative work this is the best deal going. Samsung really has nailed this product. I consider it groundbreaking. The image quality for the price is stunning. No IPS/PVA panel has matched the price point of TN panels in the States before, and I hope this is the beginning of a trend that could see TN panels severely challenged.

Ive definitely had my eye on this monitor It would be nice to own a PC LCD that actually has deep black levels for once.

I may have to run it as a secondary if ghosting is a big issue w/ gaming but im still interested in seeing how it compares overall to my current PX2370 LED TN based monitor.

Good call. To my unpracticed eye, the black levels are much stronger than the TN panel I was using. Compared to a Dell U2410 or 2408wfp? Tough to say. I don't see significant backlight bleeding either. Setting the display to 50% brightness and 50% contrast, with the 100% sharpness setting is pretty impressive when reading text with fonts in the tech writing apps I typically use. Wish I had this at work.

I have two of these for the left and right parts of an eyefinity setup. Very nice PQ but the bezels are a little larger than is ideal for this application. Can't beat it at 2 for $300 at Microcenter though.

I ordered a 2333T yesterday I'm curious to see what its like owning a non-TN panel, I'll set it up next to my current PX2370 and see what happens, I already know what to expect motion blur wise.
