I am living on my own!!! However my dad's side of the family own some property in his hometown and since my younger already has some of own from his grandmother, so I will get it after my dad goes. Or so he said.

I've been adding onto my house the past 5 years....cause I'm cheap and slow. One of the fire codes required that I put in hard-wired smoke detectors and wired them together. I only had to do it on the addition, but I went ahead and got some 12/3 copper and ran it from the addition through the attic so I now have 3 smoke detectors....one upstairs in the rooom over the garage, one at the top of the stairs, and another downstairs in my kitchen.

Hopefully we won't burn any cookies or popcorn and smoke the kitchen up... If we do, it gone be loud!

True story. back when I first moved in here back in 2013 I notice wood smoke orders and saw some crazy dude building a small fire, so I quickly got a case manager and they put it out and sent him over to Kettler the local psych ward and that is the last time I saw the dude.
