I've got a phone interview in about 35 minutes and I'm starting to get pretty nervous. It's the first interview i've had in a couple of years, and the first interview for a REAL job.

Wish me luck.

this is a pretty accurate representation of what i look like right now -> :confused:

On the flipside, i'm considering getting naked before they call just so i can have the confidence boost of knowing that i'm talking to them while naked and they can't do a thing about it....i keeed i keeed

It's okay, I'm always like that also.

Before the interview, I get nervous, but once the interview started, I'll not be nervous anymore.

drink a glass of water before answering. or keep a glass of water near you during the interview. u dont want to get dry mouth in the middle. also, dont drink so much that u have to pee in the middle of the interview. so pee, then drink a little water, and keep the rest nearby so u can take sips on call

EDIT: oh man...all this talk about water is making me want to go pee! brb

Just think about the interview I'm going to have to go in for in the next couple weeks...a panel interview for a police department consisting of a Lieutenant, a couple Sergeants, a few officers, and a human resources representative from City Hall. They'll be asking me about any "questionable" results from my polygraph, my background, and putting me on the spot with "situational" questions. You should be so lucky as to have a phone interview! :|

Take a deep breath before answering inhale and exhale. Don't start the conversation sounding like you are out of breath lol

Try to talk to them while you're in the bathroom. If they ask you a tough question, flush the toilet and pretend that you didn't hear it. I guarantee that you'll get the job!
