I think people really underestimate how complex desktop operating systems are, android can't even allow you to do true multi-tasking.
 
Uh, just install Ubuntu, simple, snappy, robust, multiple desktops...

Seriously, anyone who wants Android on the desktop should give normal Linux a try first.
 
So get an Asus Transformer with the keyboard accessory, or get a Droid Bionic with the Lapdock, and let me know if you think its a true desktop replacement.
