Man, I have a good friend!

I got a call yesterday from a friend telling me that he went into work on Friday (he is doing design work for Heineken) and his boss asks him "Do you like video games?"

He says "Yes." and the guy hands him this.

So he came over yesterday and gave it to me! Free of charge, no strings attached! He already had one and he hates football so he gave me both!

So we break it open and I pull it from the plastic wrapper only to find this. I thought that was pretty sweet! It seems to be permanent. Apparently they were giving these packages away as a promotion.

Not bad, eh? Now I have to figure out what to do with the game, considering I just bought 2003 for the PS2. Hehehe

I'm not sure how it is applied, but it isn't a sticker. That is what I thought when I first saw it, but it doesn't seem to come off (not that I want it to!)

Screw that. I have been working on the wife for a while trying to get the GameCube. She was a bit hesitant, considering I DO already have a PS2 and a bunch of games.

It's weird, but all my friends have their birthdays in a string of 4 or so months. They're all turning 21.

I got one of them Madden 2003 for his PS2; I bought Mario Sunshine for another one; and I just picked up SOCOM for a third one. One is turning 21 in January, but he doesn't have any next-gen systems. As for myself, I'm turning 20 in December, but I'm treating myself to Super Monkey Ball 2 and SegaGT as soon as my local Walmart stocks them.

I just rented SMS and it's cute, but damn hard. I couldn't imagine being "kiddie" and beating it.
