If you want this stuff, selling it over a $135/month payment with $2000 in principal shows your $10k in savings was probably really a retirement plan. You prefaced your want to sale to add to your savings. You then told us your real plan which was to payoff a school loan for $2000 that was costing you $135 a month.

Where did I ever say I was selling it over a $135 a month payment? I remember saying it might be more useful to me to not have a payment vs having helmets in storage. The student loan is not causing the liquidation of a collection, however the liquidation of a collection could result in the closure of a student loan.
