87 pages of all repetitive information thats already in the resume. And there's never a damn way to just upload a resume and allow their system to match jobs to your skills.

Anyone hate all of the rigamarole you need to go through just to submit a resume?

The worst part about it is that you're sure that no one's going to look at your resume for 99% of those jobs, and that your resume will eventually just be deleted. It's definitely a hassle that each company makes you go to their website and fill out the same forms you've filled out a hundred times before.

I like USAJobs's system where you can make a resume right on there. It sucks when government agencies want you to do their applications in addition though.

I'd probably be a little careful about submitting that information as well. If it's a recruiting firm, they're likely going to use it for compiling demographic information that they will then use for their personal marketing purposes. I had to sue a company a long time ago for finding my resume and altering it to make it looked like I worked for them. They then used it to pitch to clients. A lot of ruthless companies out there.

But I agree with what yowalabi said. It can often be a waste of time. It's better if you take some initiative to try and find more about the position and just seek them out yourself.
