Be quiet. You quit after an hour. How much pain can an hours worth of mild exertion and a few falls cause you? You'd better hope you never find someone to have sex with. You wont be able to move for a week.

People like to whine, I tried snowboarding for the first time on Tue to see what the fuss was about. I taught myself to do it in ~3 hours including the time to figure out I was more comfortable riding "goofy". It's pretty fun, and I only had a couple of minor bruises and mild soreness the next day; I don't know why people make it sound like it's so difficult to learn.

Thats good for you, seriously. However, I didnt share the same success that you had on the slopes. I guess some people pick up on it and some dont.

That's why you keep trying... My first time I rode for about 8 hours. Still sucked. About four hours into my second time up I was golden. As far as the basics go anyway. Just keep at it.

I like boarding by myself somtimes. real zen like if theirs not a lot of people. Plus if theirs a bunch on the slopes you can usually find a few friendlys to hang with. In other words go anyway :p

Mt. High sucks... bad. Even though its closer, not even worth it.

Snow Summit usually has night sessions. Theres one scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) and all in all most liekly Saturday also.

I would go by myself, but I really can't justify driving ~2 hours by myself especially at gas prices $2 per gallon.

Night sessions are EMPTY. I always go night sessions. No lines, 6 hours, and cheaper. Only downside is that its cold as fsck. :p Gah, must go.
