Man, I am sick and tired of getting these retarded Indian CSRs!

Nearly every financial institution I deal with over the phone has my call routed to some hapless moron in India. If I walk into a branch I get some brown-noser humping my leg.

What happened to the good old days when customer service was easy?

Yep, this is why outsourcing tech help overseas was a big mistake. It might reduce costs, but also reduces customer sastisfaction.

You mean you don't like getting a guy with a thick Indian accent named "Tim" on the phone when you call somewhere?

Ugh, I HATE that too! Once I tried to call Micro$haft for something, and before I knew it I was connected to Apu from the Simpsons, only much harder to understand. He didn't even understand when I said I couldn't understand him and wanted someone fluent in English!

Customer service is important for small businesses but for big businesses it's completely useless and not necessary.

I had one named Fred and one named Julie

I'm starting to get some clients that use outsourced CSRs for mortgage servicing. When I get one I asked to be sent to the loan officer in America or their main branch in America.

I had a very simple issue that needed resolution. It should have taken two minutes, but instead, I have to explain myself... very... slowly... so... he... can... understand... me.

A complete waste of my time.

So? Switch companies and you get the same thing. If everyone does the same thing there won't be any backlash. You can get American tech help, but you have to be willing to pay for it. If you shop by pinching pennies you get cheap-o support. Deal with it.

Just because he does not speak foreign language as fluently as the native speakers it doesn't mean he is a moron. He was offered a job by a company in YOUR country and he took it. Its YOUR companies fault not his and also YOUR fault that you keep supporting that company by purchasing product/services from them.

Dammit, I am sick and tired of all you white-man racists putting down the American Indian! It's not even the right term! Aborigine is something closer to the truth.

It's bad enough you tried to make us extinct with germ warfare, booze, and diseased broads. Now you're dissing us just because the only good paying job is phone support. Do you still want to keep us down just to sell our pottery and feather headdresses by the roadside? Have you no decency, white man?

One day the red man will rise up and slaughter you all in your slee...

Hold on, wait.

I've just been informed that you mean dot, not feather. Sorry. Nevermind. By all means, carry on.

They've even outsourced healthcare. You get on a jet, go to an Indian hospital to have tests, surgery, or whatever, then after your stay is finished you go home. It was in the paper over a year ago.

I think Phillipines is a better choice for outsourcing for American consumers. They are pretty westernized in Phillipines, they have been heavily influenced by the US due to US military presence from WWII, and generally speak in an accent that is easier for Americans to understand.
