Man, how do you get rid of that kak.worm virus? Norton AntiVirus won't get rid of it!!!

I don't understand how nortons can't get rid of this virus, its ridiculous.

I have the same problem. also housecall didn't remove the calls to it either. ? Guess it's time to go in manually. :( any ideas would be great. Thanks

Norton AntiVirus sucks....I'm sorry, but it does. I'd personally suggest Trend PC-Cillin, but that's just the one I use. I base my opinion solely on the fact that it found one virus that my friend's norton didn't....but that's about all the proof I need. ;)

Sorry if that sounded too much like a commercial, but I'm very defensive about my virus scanner...and I still lmao at people who use norton.

I actually use Norton in realtime mode and the improved version of Trend's Antivirus found in Fix-It Utilities 2000 on demand. I did not re-install McAffee the last time I did a clean install, about 2 months ago. So nowadays I am using just 2 antivirus instead of 3. :Q

I must say that going from a Quantum Fireball CR to a Fireball Plus LM really makes scanning my drives each Sunday (after updating the virus lists) much faster. :D

Norton 2000 removed it from my system just fine. It attached itself to an email from a friend.
