I have a friend in town for spring break. She was one of my best friends throughout high school, but now she moved away and I only see her every once in a while. Today we hung out, and she asked me to hang out with her tonight (just to hang out, not do anything sexual you perverts :p ).

I had to work at 4pm, so I told her to call my house or cell phone and leave a message letting me know where she was staying so I could meet her there (her cell phone was stolen, so I couldn't just call her). I got off of work VERY early (like 5pm) because they didn't need me tonight. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more for the phone call. 10'o'clock rolled around, and she still didn't call, so I said screw it, I'm going to bed.

An hour an 10 minues later, I hear my phone ring, but didn't make it in time to get to the phone before she hung up. I have it in my right mind just not to call her back or answer the phone if she calls back. She knows that I have school in the morning, and if we were going to hang out, it wasn't going to be at 12am in the morning!!! :confused: Why even bother calling?

Oh well, I still have the rest of the weekend - she'll be mad as usual and think that I'm avoiding her. I'll return her call when I get out of class tomorrow.

//end weak rant

I don't knwo, just because she is probably one of the only people from high school that I actually keep in touch with. We were good friends too.

I dont know what to tell ya dude... but if it were me, and it was a bud of mine that i hadnt seen in a while i would stay up and hang out... sure you might be tired the next day, but time is friends is not replaceable.

It kind of seems like you took her call the wrong way. She probably called to apologize, and maybe she thought it rude not to even call when you had plans, albeit not concrete ones.

Don't get mad; get nookie! :)

If it was any other school day, I'd go and just skip class, but tomorrow is the last day before spring break and I have two tests to take out of the three classes I have. There's no way I can skip tomorrow. I'll just call her and tell her that I was already in bed when she called (well, because I WAS! :p ).

Anyway, I'm going back to crash after a few most posts :p

hmmm tests or friends.... now that is a hard one. I think i have to agree with you though, getting through two tests is a bit more important. Hope she wont be mad! Good luck!

What was she mad about? You were already in bed when she called, she has no right to be mad even if you did ignore her call.
