Man drives down a flaming mountainside to flee wildfires

We've had fires all over SE TN, and the ones that started up in NE TN (near Gatlinburg) are actually worse. Arson is suspected but not proven. Fortunately we just got drenched by rain (ironically as a part of the same weather system that blew the embers towards Gatlinburg, spreading the blaze) so most of the fires in and around the Chattanooga area are out or dying.

Yeah there's a thread or two on the fiery escape videos from that floating around here somewhere, as well as that insane one from California...scary stuff. I loved living in CA, but man, between the droughts, fires, earthquakes, traffic, and high real estate prices, I don't miss it too much!
